I saw this on another aviation board. Pretty neat 10 minute video of the Concorde descending and landing. The video has views from both the cockpit AND the outside of the aircraft.
Interesting vid. Three things I find cool: 1. The high numbers the captain is throwing of as he is explaining the descent. Mach 1.9, 57 aand a half thousand feet.
2. The third set of hands reaching from the FEs position to reduce the power setting
3. The dropping of the nose as part of the landing checklist.
I never got to see one of these in the air. Maybe someday I will get to a museum that has one. Thanks for the post.
